Pellet passing through raw egg at 280 m/s

A 0.177 inch pellet fired downward from an air rifle at about 280 m/s exploded this raw egg. Flash synchronization was achieved using a sound trigger that detected the sound of the gun. The trigger was connected to a delay circuit to adjust the delay before the flash fired. The egg residue dripping from the background paper came from previous shots.
