  • We've discontinued our line of breadboard kits, as demand didn't justify continuing to stock the kits. We still have many of the individual components available. See the Components section of the product menu. We'll continue to keep the assembly instructions available and provide troubleshooting support.
  • International customers (outside of the USA) with merchandise amounts under $50, contact us for a less expensive shipping option than USPS Priority or Express.

This kit includes all the  components needed for building a sensitive sound trigger. The SK2 uses a piezoelectric element that is sensitive to sharp sounds like claps, snaps, and bursts. It can trigger on a finger snap from a distance of about 10 feet. A photo of the trigger assembled on a breadboard is shown to the right. The circuit is powered with a 9-V battery or AC/DC adapter (not included).

Cords to connect the breadboard circuit to a flash unit or camera are not included.
