8-pin socket
The socket can be soldered to a PC board
to provide a mount for either the 555 timer or the
4-pin optocoupler.
14-pin socket
The socket can be soldered to a PC board to provide a mount for either the 556 timer.
SPDT switch, PC mount
This single-pole, double-throw switch has pins for mounting on a PC board. We use it on the Multi-Trigger PCB.
RCA jack, PC mount
This RCA jack has pins for mounting on a PC board. We use it on the Multi-Trigger PCB.
PC board
This board is used in our Camera Opto-Switches. The board is designed for
mounting and connecting to ICs. The copper-plated side is shown.
Potentiometers (breadboard or PC mount)
1-kilohm potentiometer
This pot is used for sensitivity control for the SK2
sound trigger.
2.5-kilohm potentiometer
This pot is used for sound trigger sensitivity control on our PCB Multi-Trigger. The 2.5k pot provides a wider sensitivity range than the 1k pot above. The range extends to lower sensitivity rather than higher.
10-kilohm potentiometer This pot is used for sensitivity control for the
SPG Schmitt trigger photogate.
100-kilohm potentiometer This pot is used for sensitivity control for the
TPG transistor photogate and LAT light-actuated trigger.
The 100k pot may also be connected in series with a
1-megohm pot (1MP) in a delay unit in order to provide
fine control of the time delay.
1-megohm single-turn potentiometer This pot is used to adjust time delay for the DU
delay unit.
