Connecting linear taper potentiometers to breadboarded circuits (<v10)
Note: These instructions are for kits before v10.

The legs of the linear
taper potentiometer are numbered 1-3 in the diagram
to the left. The view is looking down on the potentiometer
with the rotator shaft pointing toward you.
The coordinates for the connection of each leg to the breadboard are given below. Refer to the linked photo to view the breadboard circuit of interest.
Before connecting the linear taper pot to the breadboard, the pot to be replaced must be removed from the breadboard. |
