Flash-to-PC Adapters
| Many modern flash units don't have PC cords. This adapter can be used to connect your flash unit to a trigger output in cases where your flash unit doesn't have a PC cord. The cord shown in the photos can be cut and spliced to the trigger output. The adapter also has a 1/4-20 socket in the base for a tripod mount as shown in the lower photo. |

We provide the adapter in three versions depending on your budget and how much assembly you want to do yourself. See below for descriptions.
|
| This is a do-it-yourself adapter which you will need to convert for use with your trigger circuit. Instructions for splicing the cord to the output cord from a trigger circuit are given here. You'll receive what you see in the photos above as well as heat shrink tubing to insulate the spliced wires. You'll need to provide the 2-conductor cable from your trigger kit. If you need additional cable, you can order it here. |
|
| No assembly required. We'll remove the PC plug end of the cable and replace it with a 2-conductor cable. You'll receive the flash shoe ready to connect to the output of your trigger circuit.
|
|
Like the Basic assembled version, no assembly is required
for the Quick disconnect version. However, we'll also prepare
an RCA-style quick disconnect plug and jack to connect the
adapter to your trigger circuit. In addition, we'll put
an RCA jack on the PC half of the cut cord so that you can
restore the Flash-to-PC adapter to its original use whenever
you wish.
Note: If you prefer to go the DIY route and prepare your own quick disconnect cable, we have RCA plugs and jacks available on the Parts for Projects page.
