FA. Flash-to-PC Adapter
|
Many modern flash units don't have PC cords. This adapter can be used to connect your flash unit to a trigger output in cases where your flash unit doesn't have a PC cord. The cord shown in the photos can be cut and spliced to the trigger output. The adapter also has a 1/4-20 socket in the base for a tripod mount as shown in the lower photo. |

| Instructions for splicing the cord to the output cord from a trigger circuit are given here. Heat shrink tubing is included with the Flash-to-PC Adapter. You'll need to provide the 2-conductor cable from your trigger kit. |
Quick disconnect option
If you would like us to prepare the cable for you so that
when you receive it, you simply need to place your flash
in the adapter shoe and connect the cable to your trigger
output, select the Quick Disconnect Flash-to-PC Adapter.
We'll prepare an RCA-style quick disconnect plug and jack
to connect the adapter to your circuit board. We'll also
put an RCA jack on the PC half of the cut cord so that you
can restore the Flash-to-PC adapter to its original use
whenever you wish.
Note: If you prefer to go the DIY route and prepare your own quick disconnect cable, we have RCA plugs and jacks available on the Parts for Projects page.
