This kit includes parts for a delay circuit that can be used
with our sound or photogate triggers or simply with the closure of
an electrical contact to synchronize the discharge of a flash unit
with the event to be photographed. Delays are adjustable from about
0.0002 - 0.5 seconds.
If you're also purchasing a photogate (SPG1 or SPG2), sound trigger (SK2),
or light-activated trigger (LAT) kit , you'll receive a discount of $1.00 by
purchasing the trigger kit in combination with the delay unit. In

*Customers
have reported that when using the delay unit outputs to trigger
Canon 430ex and 580ex flash units, the flash unit is disabled after
each discharge until the unit is turned off and on again. In order
to correct this problem, two 1-kW
replacement resistors are included with each delay unit and
combination kit. These resistors may be used in place of the 22-kW
resistors that lead from outputs 5 and 9 of the 556 timer.
