Three-foot lengths of 2-conductor cable are provided in all the kits for connecting the circuit to a flash unit.  Three-foot lengths of 3-conductor cable are provided in all the photogate trigger kits for connecting the trigger circuit to the emitter-detector pair.  You can purchase longer or additional lengths of cable in lengths of 3, 6, and 12 feet (3 ft = 0.9 m).
