About media players

We generally provide video clips on this site in both QuickTime (mov) and Video for Windows (avi) formats. Both formats can be played with either QuickTime 4 or Windows Media Player 6.4.  Here are links to download sites:

Please note:

QuickTime 3 may not play our VFW clips.  However, QuickTime 2 and 4 will play them.

Versions of the Windows Media Player or Active Movie that predate WMP 6.4 may not play the QuickTime clips.

For best results, we recommend either QuickTime 4 or Windows Media Player 6.4. Both are free downloads.
