| In this shot, the BB was actually
captured by the elastic strip. This happens just about as
often as a clean puncture. Perhaps the elastic is slightly
thicker or stronger in some places than others, thereby
leading to a capture. The result also depends on the speed
of the BB. At higher speeds,
the BB always pierces the strip.
Note the drop of milk suspended from
the bottom of the strip. This shows how still that part of
the strip was, even as the center region was being stretched
to many times its normal length.
