| Interestingly,
it seems to take a while for a bulb to show this much
fracturing after being struck. The sound trigger had to be
placed far from the bulb (5-10 feet) in order to provide a
great enough time delay to capture the bulb in this state. That's
only 2-3 thousandths of a second delay, but for high-speed
photography, that's a long time!
